Top Ten {Tuesday}



Here is a list of our go-to, quick dinner ideas:


1. Beef in Brown sauce with perrogies, pasta, or potatoes.

2. Chicken or beef or pork stir-fry -just through together veggies, meets and staples from my asian cooking list and have it with rice or noodles.

3. Baked chicken - just season chicken pieces with lots of spices (thyme, parsley, rosemary, garlic, onion, pepper, salt), splash some balsamic vinegar  et voila.

4. Beef or chicken enchiladas

5. Bakes pork chops -  throw together a sauce made of barbecue sauce, soy sauce, garlic, honey or brown sugar et voila

6. Ground beef, or chicken or sausage and pasta, baked or stove top.

7. Soup (potatoes, vegetable, zucchini, brocoli etc. . )

8. Chili

9. Meatloaf

10. Ground beef patties

Apple Pancake

Woke up this morning looking for breakfast to be made using apples. I stumble upon this recipe and since my family absolutely love pancakes, that was an easy decision. It was super easy and  really good . Apple Pancake (Another one courtesy of recipezaar.com) 2 cups flour 2 beaten eggs 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 1/2 cups milk 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons melted butter 2 tablespoons sugar 1 cup chopped apple Sift dry ingredients together. Combine eggs, butter, and milk. Pour into flour mixture and stir until smooth. Add apples and stir. Drop by spoonful and cook on a griddle. Et voila Enjoy!

Stuffed pumpkin

  Here is a great Thanksgiving recipe: Stuffed Pumpkin Ingredients For the roasted squash 2 Acorn or pepper squash, halved through the stem and seeed 2 tbsp of liove oil 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper sage, 4 cloves garlic For the Stuffing: 1/4 cup olive oil 1 pd of ground meat (used beef) 1 ognion, finely dices 1 carrot, grated 1 celery grated 1/4 cup of mushroom 1 clove garlic minced 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper 1/4 tsp thyme\1 tsp salt 1/4 pepper 2 tbp sage 1 1.2 tbp tomato paste 2 apples diced 1/2 cup breadcrumbs 2 tbsp parsley 2 tbsp chives 1 edd lighty beaten 2 tbsp maple syrup   Procedure: Roast the squash: Brush olive on in th inside of the squash. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place each halves open side down over a piece of garlic. Bake in a 400 oven until the squash is tender when pierced with a knive, but still hold its shape, 35-45 minutes. Stuffing: Saute 2 tbsp oil in a large skillet, add the ground meet and cook until browned. Tranbsfer meat. In the same skillet, saute...
