Tostitos tacos

We are not fan of tostitos, yet we have a friend who keeps giving us some. Well, we found a way of making use of them. We use them as tacos and eat them topped with Texmex ground beef, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. Here is the recipe I use for the groung beef:

1 1/2 tbsp chili powder

1 1/2 tsp paprika

1 1/2 tsp cumin

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp garlic powder or crushed garlic

1/2 chopped onion

some cayenne pepper if you like it spicy.

Brown groud meat, then mix in the seasonings and add 2/3 - 3/4 cup water, and let it simmer until consistency you want, about 10 minutes. Adjust seasonings to taste, et voila.

My older son really likes it:
