waffle batter

I have finally found a waffle batter recipe that works for me, and I love it, so does everybody else in the familly. since i bought myself a waffle maker, earlier this year, I have been trying waffle recipes and they all kept spilling out of the waffle maker. I jst could not understand what was going on. I tried a recipe this morning and they came out perfect, plus they tasted great. Here is the recipe:

1 3/4 cup flour

2 Tbsp sugar

1 Tbsp baking powder

2 eggs

1 3/4 milk

1/2 cup oil or butter (melted)

1 tsp vanilla

Combine all ingredients. Stir until moistened. Refrigerate until ready to use. Use according to your waffle maker. Enjoy!

Favorite bread recipe

Here is a recipe to our favorite bread recipe: Portuguese Sweet Bread 1 cup of milk 1 egg beaten 2 tbsp margarine or butter 1/3 cup sugar 3/4 tsp salt 3 cups flour (I replace 1/3 of the flour with whole wheat flour) 2 1/2 tsp yeast Put ingredients in bread maker according to your machine's instruction. I use the dough setting. Then shape it the way you like it and let it rest for about 45 minutes. Bake at 350-375 for 30 minutes. Et voila. This last time, since I prefer smaller loaf, I doubled the recipe, cut the dough in half, baked one half and froze the other one.\ Enjoy!
